Your Biography and Artist Statement - tell us about yourself and your background.

You may also provide us with an online portfolio or a PDF version as long as it includes all of the above information.

How do I submit my portfolio for review?

If not accepted, can I submit my portfolio again?
Yes, you can submit a portfolio with new artwork 24 months after your original submission.
How long is the portfolio review process?
The portfolio review process usually takes between 4-6 months.


Does Virtosu Art Gallery sell Artwork?

Virtosu Art Gallery is selling the artwork featured in any of its online exhibitions or on it's gallery website. The Gallery represents the artists in the exhibitions and in the catalogue on its website. All inquiries from potential buyers who see the artwork on the website will be directed to the sales department for negotiation.

Sales that originate through Partner programs will be subject to a separate agreement between Virtosu Art and the partner. The artwork does not need to be for sale to be included in our Catalogue gallery.

How do I reserve something from the on-site gallery?

How do I query the price of an artwork?
Please use the inqure button for queries relating to availability and price of artwork. Starting January 2019 will have the online shop running.


How to find a work by title?
When on Gallery page - the search console is positioned at top right. Type in first letters of the work title, choose the work from drop down list.
Do you have a filter for your artwork?
When on Gallery page - the filter is on the right. You can filter the artworks by collection, size, style, type, artist and art theme.
Why are your collections defined by year?
Our collections are curated according to the year of formation of the collection, usually one or two years after the works have been commissioned. So collection 2017 will comprise works executed during 2015-2017. Collection 2016 will comprise works executed during 2014-2016 and so on.
How do you define most popular paintings?
Most popular paintings are the works that have been in the greatest of demand and have been placed in their new homes through auction. The works have gathered most of outstanding reviews from curators, collectors and clients.

What type of packaging do you use?
Fine Art Shipping With Packaging & Crating Services. Proven technique begins with a thorough assessment that considers factors such as product fragility, size, and value; pickup conditions; mode of transport; environmental factors such as climate; and final destination requirements. Each requirement is factored into the appropriate container and cushioning system for ensuring damage free shipment.
When will my art arrive?
You can estimate your art's arrival by adding the processing and transit times. We typically process in-stock framed items within 10-15 business days.
How do I track my order?
You can quickly check the status of a current order with your order number and email address. As soon as your art ships, we'll send you a confirmation email that includes a tracking number.
How much will shipping cost?
Shipping fees vary based on the country of delivery, quantity and type of art you've ordered.
Is my package insured?
BASIC FINE ARTS COVERAGE. Broad, all-risks coverage from the time artwork is taken from us, to the time it is delivered, on a worldwide basis. Blanket limits on property in our care, custody, & control at scheduled locations and any other unnamed location. Domestic & international transits. No coinsurance clause. Valuation clauses designed for the art industry. Coverage for jointly-owned works of art. Special clauses for "loss buy back" or "pairs & sets". Relaxed appraisal requirements.
What happens if only a portion of my order is available for immediate shipment?
In order to offer you quality service, we combine similar items in one shipment subject to the processing times of all items in the shipment. If an unexpected delay should occur that prevents available items on your order from shipping when expected, you may specifically request that the available items be shipped separately.
Can I ship to a P.O. Box?
Large items must be shipped to a street address.


How do I place an order?

What payment options do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept PayPal, PayPal Credit, checks and money orders. Bank transfers. Bitcoin.
What about duties and taxes?
You may be required to pay duties and taxes to claim your package, depending on your local customs office. Virtosuart.com has no control over this, and has no way of determining the total cost of duties and taxes. We encourage you to contact your local postal service or customs bureau for more specific information.
